Meet Our Founders
Towne Optical
Jack Snelgrove
Jack has been a licensed Optician for more than 30 years. He has served his profession as the President of the College of Opticians in Ontario and as a professor of Opticianry at Georgian College. His specialties include eyeglass production and contact lens designing.
Jack is a devoted father, grandfather, and husband who enjoys boating and golf. He is the Owner and Founder of Kawartha Vision Care and Towne Optical.
Kawartha Vision Care
Bill Snelgrove
Bill became a licensed Optician in 2000 and recently earned his certificate in Refraction for Opticianry. He currently serves as a director of the Ontario Opticians Association. He specializes in eyeglass design, production, dispensing, and repair.
Bill’s hobbies include aviation and playing the guitar. He is the Co-Owner and Founder of our company.
